Sorry for being so quiet over here we are finally on the mend! If you follow me on IG you will have seen that my babies (yes all three) have been sick. I mean the sick that ends up with you at the hospital, the one were your sweet babies can’t breathe and it is heartbreaking as a mama to watch. The baby was sadly the first one to come down with it and than so sweetly she shared with her brother  who quickly  shared with big sissy and left mommy running on no sleep for almost 2 weeks straight! Thankfully they are all coughing less and sleeping and playing and acting like their old selves which has me so relieved and so happy!

What do you do for your sick babies, mamas? It is so hard when they are so young and their isn’t much you can do for them which even harder. I don’t know if you have heard about essential oils but I had heard of them but never tried them up until about a month ago! All my friends had been talking about how great using oils is and I, as I typically am, was skeptical about this new “craze”. I also was wary about spending the money on the products when I didn’t even know if they actually worked. Thankfully a friend reached out to me and offered to let me try some of her amazing products so of course I was happy to accept and give this whole “essential oils” a try.

After she dropped of these products I quickly got to reading and understand how to use them and what they do. I first put the soap pump right at my kitchen sink were it gets used multiple times a day. Secondly I plugged in the diffuser and started diffusing a blend of Balance and Wild Orange which is calming and mood boosting. First of all I loved the smell the oils gave off and I was excited to see how the worked. I can honestly say I have really been enjoying using the oils and diffusing lavender in my room every night as well as lemon throughout the house to give it the crisp, clean smell that we don’t get when you can’t have the windows open in the cold winter months! I was already a believer but than my babies got sick and I was able to put the oils to the real test!

I love that I was able to apply the Breathe right onto the chest and feet of my 5 month old and it was completely safe and gave her some relief from her coughing and helped her breathe! This stuff is now my go to for my babies. I am also using a teething roller to help her with the pain of cutting teeth and it seems to be giving her some relief as well! I don’t want to try and sell anyone on why they should use these oils but I will be honest with you since thats how it works on my blog but I am loving them and truly have found them to be helpful! What are essential oils?Naturally occurring volatile aromatic compounds that are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers and other parts of plants. They provide the plant with protection against predators and disease and play a role in plant pollination. They have been used for many years in food preparation, beauty treatments and health care practices. 50-70 times more powerful than herbs. Why explore Natures solutions for your health? Address the problem immediately in your home. No side effects with proper recommended use. How do I use essential oils?Aromatically: when diffused essential oils can be very stimulating, while others can be calming. Diffusing oils can purify the air of unwanted odours and airborne pathogens. Topically- Essential oils are absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream in 30 seconds. They work at the cellular level to protect cells. 1 drop of Essential Oil can service every cell in your body! There is really so much I could say about how great my experience has been since starting to use the oils but if you have more questions feel free to contact me or my friend Alanna personally at alannabascoe@yahoo.ca. She  can hook you up and has a way bigger amount of knowledge when it comes to all these and many more amazing oils. I have just started to learn about them and so excited to know more!
